7. Footpaths reinstated & 1.2 km of new footpaths created to increase public access.
What Does This Mean?
Increased public access is indeed a very good thing. As witnessed on our Valley Walk, even some of the existing public rights of way are not well maintained or managed. Indeed there is some dispute over who has responsibility.
But again, could we not do this for ourselves, working in close collaboration with owners and mobilising our village communities to work with us?
