Opencast threat to the Pont Valley, Public Meeting - Saturday 2nd Feb, Dipton Communty Centre, Front St, Dipton. Come along and have your say, hear the views of others and find out how you can make a difference.
For those that care enough to make the effort, this is one not to miss. Regardless of weather, this meeting will go ahead
UK Coal's long awaited application has now been submitted and we now have the full environmental statement, application and all supporting documention on site in the NOTT campaign section as well as in a following announcement.
Please take the time to take a look at our NOTT campaign section. We did try earlier to anticipate what might be said and we think that we weren't far wide of the mark. Now, armed with the full details we will look to update all our information progressively before continuing with the on-line debate especially so we might consult more effectively with those that know more and know better - you, the folks that live around here.
Please take the opportunity to get involved. This concerns you so don't let others speak for you - speak for yourself by making a comment on the website, signing the on-line petition if persuaded, signing any one of the paper petitions which you will see around you, write your own letters of objection (or support), come along to the regular Monday Night PVN meetings and hear what the NOTT folks have to say.
There will be a separate announcement on site giving more details about who, where, when, why and what and these will also contain separate links taking you to other places on our website or other websites with more information. But first, make a date for Saturday, 2nd February at the Dipton Community Centre to get involved! 1030 a.m
